Haquin – Vrddhi

April 5, 2017 New Music

A new artist to us here at Café Chill, Haquin delivers some new music to accompany the seasons change! Based out of Leeds, England, Haquin brings us an almost meditative and calming avant-garde (or avant-chill, according to his tags) sound reminiscent of the affably sporadic blooms, blossoms, scents and colors of spring time. To further emphasize the idea and beauty of this season, the song title “Vṛddhi” is a Sanskrit term for “growth”. How absolutely fitting. Have a listen to Haquin’sRead More

Pines – Tell Me (ft. Water Park)

March 1, 2017 New Music

Our Adelaide-based buddies PINES are back, bringing us a fresh collaboration with a second Australian duo named Water Park. The song is driven by a flux of soft saw-wave synths, and gently guides us along with contemplative and halcyon vocals. In addition to the new release, PINES has announced that they will be performing and hanging out at SXSW, March 10-19 in Austin, TX. Keep your eyes peeled!

Lusine – Slow Motion

February 28, 2017 New Music

Seattle-based producer Lusine has come back with a tune sure to catch your attention. His new single Slow Motion is held tightly together with familiar melodies of gentle analog synths dancing and ducking in either ear, slowly leading into a swirl of reversed field-recordings and textures. Slow Motion is the second single off of Lusine’s upcoming album “Sensorimotor”, due out March 3rd under Ghostly International. Listen:
