That might be why I didn’t see a playlist for this episode on the PRX website! This isn’t the first time that had happened, and I was pretty worried. I usually love checking the website for the latest Café Chill episode when it comes out and then immediately looking at the playlist, or, if there’s no playlist like there wasn’t for this episode, I’ll just press play and go through each song to try my best to figure out what it is. It helps me out a lot when I at least know what the songs are right after the episode comes out because I never like not knowing what ANY songs are on one episode. That makes those episodes feel left out.
That has actually happened before, with quite a few classic Café Chill episodes (I’m talking the classic episodes from my time). I didn’t know what the songs were, either because I hadn’t heard the episode yet, or I didn’t look at the set playlist for that episode, or there were issues with the playlist manufacturing that caused it to not be present. I was quite disappointed about it but ever since I first saw Spinitron around 3 ½ years back I have known the playlist to EVERY episode that is on there, including those ones that I didn’t know before. I am now a happy camper!
I love Spinitron.com so much. It is such a life-saver for me when I need it most AND every time I use it too! I am aware that not every public radio station uses it, but if your favorite public radio station DOES use it, then I highly recommend it if you’re like me and LOVE looking at the playlist for every episode of your favorite shows. It is truly awesome. ☺️😊🥰😘💚
Yeah, Spinitron is a pretty cool system. It really helps streamline compliance for radio stations.
